Installing A Toilet Flange On Concrete Floor

I ll be putting down a tile over concrete.

Use a pencil or grease pen to mark the drill holes around its. The process is generally the same but the flange is secured down before the floor is finished. Use tapcon anchors or a similar type of masonry concrete screws to fasten the toilet flange to the concrete slab. If using a plastic flange ring be careful not to crack the ring by screwing the anchors in too far.

With the drainage pipe ready the floor flange must be installed.

Screw the toilet flange onto the concrete. Though above floor installation is considered the right way to fit a flange some swear by attaching it level with the floor.
