Mix a cementitious floor leveling compound such as henry 555 level pro or levelquik self leveling underlayment with water in a bucket until the mixture is pourable. The short answer is yes you can install laminate flooring over a ceramic tile floor if the tile floor is in good condition and the tile are well attached level and flat. You should install an underlayment before laying the floor but you may need to install transition strips. Since tile is a durable substrate there is little risk of deterioration when another flooring substance is placed over it.

There are a few precautions though. If the tiles aren t flat you need to level the floor using leveling compound. Also consider that doors cabinets and other hardware might need to be reworked or replaced with new ones to compensate for the higher floor. First the tile should be in good shape level and free of depressions before installing laminate over tile.
